Knox HomeBox is a high security key safe that is trusted and supported by your local fire department. It provides First Responders access to your home in an emergency. When people inside are unable to open the door or not in the house, the First Responders open the Knox HomeBox and then enter the house.

Knox HomeBox is currently not available for purchase at your local retailers and can only be purchased directly from Knox via our website HERE or by phone at 1-855-GET-KNOX (1-855-438-5669).
There is one HomeBox keysafe, but this model comes in different colors and mounting options.
The Knox HomeBox comes in Linen, Antique White, and Dove.

The Knox HomeBox is constructed of reinforced cast Zinc and powder coated for weather resistance.

Prior to installing the Knox HomeBox consult your local Fire Department for their preferred installation location. If your mounting surface is something other than a wood surface please consult a professional handyman for assistance. See our installation instructions for additional recommendations.
Not a sticker but a Knox HomeBox emergency magnet and Sharpie® marker is included in your shipment. Write emergency contacts on the magnet and place on your refrigerator where it can be seen. We suggest your refrigerator.
Once you have your Knox HomeBox installed you will need to call your Fire Department and make those arrangements. Be sure to have a spare key ready when they arrive.

No. The Knox HomeBox isn't your traditional lock box. Access into the HomeBox is limited to only your local fire department and only in an emergency the First Responders will have access to your home via the key that is in the box.
Knox HomeBox comes with a Limited Lifetime warranty against materials failure and manufacturing defects. This warranty applies to the ORIGINAL purchaser only and is non-transferable. During the warranty period, the Knox Company will repair or replace any part of a Product proving defective in material or workmanship.
